The title tag is an HTML code element that specifies the title of a web page. It’s usually displayed in search results pages and is an important factor in SEO as it is the first thing someone reads in the SERPs before they consider clicking through to your page. Having a keyword-optimized title is SEO best practice, but that has to be within 60 characters; otherwise, Google will cut it short to a point where it might not make sense to visitors.
